CHANDLER Gibson

My name is Chandler Gibson (@_prettyinink_ on Instagram). I have always been intrigued by art in any way shape or form. Before I began tattooing, I spent my time doodling (what I thought could be) future tattoos on myself, and my friends. I loved working with colored pencils, and ink (pens, India, etc.). Shortly after I graduated high school I found myself 18+ hours away in college at Oklahoma Christian where I played soccer and became an art major. I quickly realized that school wasn’t my strong suit and I wanted to pursue my dreams of becoming a tattoo artist. I first began my journey with my favorite form of art at Underground Ink in Gainesville, Ga where I met my “work wife” Lolli LaVonne. After spending a few years at Underground Lolli and I decided to venture off on our own and low and behold… Steele Ink Studios was born in 2018. I am so incredibly blessed to be able to do what I love everyday. Tattooing isn’t easy, nor have I ever expected it to be. Sometimes it can be hard for a client to trust their artist's vision with something so permanent. But I have, and will always try my best to make things work and create a tattoo my client will love. Tattooing requires a lot of trust since it’s a very permanent decision. And I am so gracious of those who have trusted me since the beginning of my time in this industry.

I focus in illustrative black & grey, Disney tattoos, and all things watercolor. I work with old tattoo reworks and cover-ups as well.

I am currently working Fridays only because I spend the rest of my time with the number one loves of my life, my daughter, Avri James who is a wonderful three year old, and my amazing twin boys. During my off time, I spend it with cuddles, Disney movies, laughter, and all the love. I am married to a wonderful man, Taylor Gibson whom I married in September of 2022. I love my life outside of my tattoo world, but I could never imagine a life without art. I am looking forward to working with all those interested in working with me. Thank you!
